Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor and admission to legal practice in Victoria.
• Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills.
• Commercial awareness and taxation/trusts/estate planning interest.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a client focus.
• Strong organisational and time management and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare advised documents under supervision.
• Assist with matters involving business structures, trusts, estate planning and succession.
• Review information to identify issues and support practical, commercial solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate documents, transactions, lodgements and completion requirements.
• Liaise with clients, accountants and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on multidisciplinary matters.
• Maintain matter files and meet deadlines with compliance.
