Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in line with Australian employment legislation, tax rules and superannuation obligations. You will manage payroll transactions, maintain employee data, perform reconciliations, and respond to payroll queries with confidentiality and professionalism.

You will work closely with HR and Finance, support audits and system improvements, and assist with testing and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing within medium to large organisations.
• Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxes, superannuation and awards.
• High accuracy with large data volumes and meeting strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain employee payroll records and system data.
• Calculate earnings, deductions, leave entitlements, and termination payments.
