Job summary

ProductLife Group is seeking an early-career Medical Information professional to join the JET Program, a structured two-year program designed to build foundations in medical information and pharmaceutical consulting across the Japan & Asia Pacific region. The role is based in Melbourne with hybrid working arrangements.

You will develop expertise in providing medical information, literature searching, and regulatory-aligned responses while collaborating with global pharma clients and teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Interest in pharmaceutical consulting and medical information.
• Professional or native proficiency in Japanese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, and internal stakeholders via media sources (phone, email, etc).
• Handle and triage medical enquiries, escalating complex cases when required.
• Conduct literature searches (PubMed/MEDLINE) and support evidence-based responses.
• Deliver scientific and technical information via written and verbal channels.
• Support translation activities (English–Japanese).
• Identify and report adverse events and product complaints in line with regulations.
• Participate in quality, compliance, and continuous learning activities.
• Collaborate across teams and support ad-hoc projects and client initiatives.
