Job summary

Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Junior Litigation Lawyer with 2-5 years of PAE to join our established commercial practice. You will handle a range of disputes with senior support, developing your advocacy and client skills in a supportive environment.

You'll work on drafting pleadings, preparing briefs, liaising with clients and experts, and attending conferences, mediations and court events, while building your own practice and progressing within the firm.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years PAE in litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, research and file management skills.
• Commercially aware approach to disputes.
• Clear communication and attention to detail.
• Admission as an Australian legal practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, briefs and court documents.
• Assist with dispute strategy, evidence and hearing preparation.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other parties.
• Attend conferences, mediations, directions hearings and court events.
• Manage deadlines, files and procedural requirements.
• Work across commercial and general civil dispute matters.

About the role!

You will work across litigation and dispute resolution matters from early advice through to negotiation, ADR and court steps, with senior support available as needed.

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, briefs and court documents

• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other parties
• Attend conferences, mediations, directions hearings and court events as required
• Manage deadlines, files and procedural requirements
