Job summary

Sunshine Coast Accountant in Woombye is seeking an experienced Junior or Intermediate Accountant to support our Senior Accountants. We pride ourselves on a relaxed, friendly, flexible workplace and a strong client focus, delivering accurate tax, financial statements and BAS work.

The role offers full-time, part-time or casual options, with flexible hours and the possibility to work remotely after the probationary period.

Qualifications

• The right person will have at least four years’ experience in an Australian accounting or public practice environment.
• Experience: preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements.
• Capable of completing work with a good degree of autonomy.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable and genuinely client focused.
• Communicate clearly and raise questions or concerns when needed.
• Understand the importance of following systems, procedures and timeframes.
• Experience with XPM, Xero Tax & Karbon would be highly regarded.
