Job summary

ReSource Pty Ltd is seeking a newly created WHS & Compliance Support role to help keep our Derrimut and Keilor East sites safe, compliant and aligned with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. You will work on the floor, supporting the HSEQ & Compliance Manager and contributing to real-world improvements.

Candidates should have a Cert IV in WHS (or be studying), around 1 year in a related role, and a valid Australian work entitlement.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Work Health and Safety, or currently studying it.
• Around 1 year in a WHS, HSEQ or compliance support role, or a recent degree in a related field.
• Full driver's licence and able to travel between our two sites.
• Good computer skills and clear written English.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Able to pass a National Police Check.
• Knowledge around AI tools and using its capabilities to speed up workflows.
• Experience working in recycling / waste industries (nice to have).
• Experience with managing ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001 systems (nice to have).
• Current First Aid certificate (nice to have).
• Permanent role, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Active participation and involvement in preparing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS5377 and R2v3 audits
• Help develop, write, and review SOPs, SWMS and risk assessments
• Keep all HSEQ records up to date
• Run toolbox talks and site inductions, and keep training records up to date
• Record, report and help investigate incidents, hazards and near misses
• Carry out regular site inspections at Derrimut and Keilor East
• Keep all EPA, Worksafe, Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), NTCRS, and B-cycle compliance documentation and records up to date and in order

Job description

ReSource runs Australia's largest dedicated e-waste and alkaline battery recycling facility in Derrimut, plus an ITAD site in Keilor East. We can process up to 20,000 tonnes of e-waste a year.

About the role

This is a newly created role. You'll support the HSEQ & Compliance Manager and keep our site safety, quality and environmental systems running day to day across both sites. You'll spend real time on the floor, not just at a desk.

Key responsibilities

Active participation and involvement in preparing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AS5377 and R2v3 audits
