Job summary

The Very Group in Liverpool is seeking a creative Junior Designer for the Homeware team. You will contribute to developing collections for The Very Collection and Michelle Keegan Home from concept to final product realization, translating trends and customer insights into inspiring designs.

Working with design and buying teams, you will develop products across multiple categories, with a homeware emphasis and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• A design degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong presentation skills in meetings.
• Strong research and commercial market awareness.
• Awareness of AI tools and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of 3D software such as Rhino.
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to translate creative direction into commercially relevant products.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of products across homeware categories.
• Research emerging trends, colours, materials, finishes and opportunities for new collections.
• Assist in creating design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and product designs.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of design packs, specifications, artwork and other technical documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
• Keep up to date with market developments, competitor activity and homeware trends.
• React to sales information and design commercially relevant products.
