3D Recruitment partners with a respected commercial builder across Victoria to recruit aJunior Estimator / Project Coordinator. You will gain exposure across pre-construction and project delivery, mentored by senior estimators and directors, building a long-term career in commercial construction.

Role involves preparing estimates, reviewing drawings, procuring quotes, and supporting project delivery from tender to handover in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience within commercial construction in estimating, contract administration or project coordination.
• Relevant Building & Construction qualification (or currently completing) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing cost estimates, take-offs and tender submissions.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Assist with procurement, contract administration and project documentation.
• Coordinate RFIs, variations and project correspondence.
• Support Project Managers with programming, cost tracking and reporting.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and clients throughout project delivery.
• Assist with project handovers and ensure documentation is maintained accurately.

THE ROLE

This is a diverse position that will see you supporting both the estimating and project delivery teams, giving you valuable exposure to every stage of a construction project.
