Job summary

SEAM Spatial is hiring a full-time Junior Engineering Surveyor in Sydney to join a team delivering major construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll perform engineering set-out, survey control and as-built surveys, while gaining exposure to data processing and project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a relevant surveying qualification and at least three years’ Australian construction surveying experience, with proficiency in total stations, GNSS and AutoCAD or Magnet.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in surveying and at least three years of Australian construction surveying experience.
• Experience using total stations and GNSS.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Magnet or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering set-out and survey control establishment for structural and civil works
• Carry out construction surveys for footings, slabs, services, pavements and structural elements
• Establish, maintain and verify site control networks
• Complete as-built surveys and prepare accurate survey deliverables
• Interpret engineering drawings, IFC documentation and project specifications
• Perform QA checks and verify construction works against design requirements and tolerances
• Process field data and contribute to drafting, model preparation and technical deliverables
• Identify discrepancies between design documentation and site conditions and communicate with stakeholders
