Job summary

L3Harris IMSA is seeking a highly driven Junior Electronics Technician to support mechanical assemblies, wiring, cabling, and electronics cabinet construction. Responsibilities include board assembly/rework, cable harnessing and testing of electronic systems, with QC support for incoming goods.

On-site duties require a valid driver’s license and a Construction White Card. The successful candidate will have Cert III/IV in a relevant field and hands-on experience with wiring, drawings, and basic

Qualifications

• Experience in wiring, cabling and connector termination.
• Fault finding of electronics systems and testing of circuit boards.
• Construction white card and driver's licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic boards and conduct rework as needed.
• Assemble cable assemblies and fabricate components.
• Test acoustic products and perform quality checks on incoming goods.
• Provide quality control support for incoming items.

About the role

L3Harris IMSA is seeking a highly driven Junior Electronics Technician to provide and support our mechanical assemblies. Your remit will be as broad as it is challenging, with opportunities for growth. The Junior Electronics Technician’s daily activities may include but not be limited to, electronic board assembies/rework, cable assemblies, fabrication, as well as manufacuring, assembling and testing acoustic products. There will be a level of Quality Control support of incoming goods when required.

As there will be on site work with Installation/Maintenance, a drivers licence and Construction White Card is required.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will be experienced in general wiring, cabling and connector termination, construction of electronics cabinets and housings. Experience with fault finding of Electronics Systems and testing of Circuit Boards.

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, the ideal applicants will bring;

• Working knowledge of wiring and engineering drawings

• Cert III and/or IV in relevant field

• Proficient with the use of hand tools

• Experience in mechanical assembly

• Basic computer skills

• Construction white card

• Drivers licence
