Job summary

NES Fircroft has partnered with a forward-thinking electrical engineering firm delivering high‑performance solutions across mining, power systems and renewables on the Gold Coast and Southern Brisbane. You’ll join a busy, collaborative team as a junior engineer, supporting design, calculations and commissioning activities across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and have 2+ years of design experience, with CAD modelling skills and a proactive

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or approved equivalent.
• Experience with electrical system modelling and CAD software.
• Demonstrated design experience delivering reliable, innovative designs.
• Minimum 2 years in a design role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior engineers and designers/drafters as needed.
• Prepare and review design calculations, reports, models, and other engineering deliverables.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Provide feedback on potential improvements to engineering processes.
• Partake in estimating budgets, schedules and project documents for approvals.
• Maintain a safe, positive working environment.
