Job summary

P.E Nation is seeking a Junior Designer to join our creative studio in Sydney. You will support across Activewear, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories, working closely with Senior Designers to translate concepts into seasonal garments.

You’ll develop technical CAD drawings, mood boards, and presentation materials, assist with trend research, and help maintain design files and production documentation through the critical path. A collaborative, energetic studio awaits you.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design development.
• Strong eye for proportion, silhouette, and construction.
• Able to work well in a collaborative, high-energy studio.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Designers in developing seasonal collections across Activewear, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories.
• Create and update technical CAD drawings, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Support in the research of trends, fabrics, trims, and colours relevant to the P.E Nation aesthetic.
• Help maintain design files, style numbers, and design documentation in line with the seasonal critical path.
• Participate in fit sessions and support with sample management from Proto to PP stages.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Garment Tech to ensure design intent is produced correctly.

At P.E Nation, we’re inspired by movement, modern streetwear, and the rhythm of active living. We’re seeking a Junior Designer to join our creative studio and join our expanding team. Someone with a passion for design, a strong eye for detail, and the drive to grow within a fast-paced fashion environment.

This role will work closely with our Senior Designers, supporting across Activewear, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where creativity and commercial understanding go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist Senior Designers in developing seasonal collections across Active, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories.
• Create and update technical CAD drawings, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Support in the research of trends, fabrics, trims, and colours relevant to the P.E Nation aesthetic.
• Help maintain design files, style numbers, and design documentation in line with the seasonal critical path.
• Participate in fit sessions and support with sample management from Proto to PP stages.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development and Garment Tech teams to ensure design intent is executed through to production.
• Contribute creative ideas in team design meetings and help bring seasonal concepts to life.

• Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with a keen eye for proportion, silhouette, and construction.
