Qualifications

• Law degree from a leading university.
• Admitted to practice law in Australia or New Zealand.
• 2+ years of post-admission legal experience at a top national or international firm, in-house, or government.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and advise on technology contracts with a focus on Australian and New Zealand public sector customers.
• Assist responses to bid proposals and tenders.
• Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business teams; support compliance training and awareness.
• Develop, implement and manage process improvements across the legal team; handle high-dollar-value transactions.
