Mckinnel Associates is seeking a Junior Site Supervisor for Project Homes in NW & SW Sydney. You will transition from carpentry to supervision, backed by an experienced Construction Manager and a Training & Development Manager.

You will learn to manage daily site operations, coordinate trades and materials, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Salary ranges between $85k and $110k plus Super, a company car and fuel card, with full-time hours.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Carpenter to transition into a Junior Site Supervisor role with the full backing of a highly experienced Construction Manager and an in-house Training & Development Manager.

You'll be mentored every step of the way as you learn to:

• Manage daily site operations and construction workflows
• Coordinate trades, suppliers, and materials to meet build schedules
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with BCA/NCC and Australian Standards
• Maintain regular, professional communication with clients throughout the build
• Work closely with estimating, admin, trade allocation, and maintenance teams to keep projects moving smoothly
• Uphold company safety standards and site presentation at all times
• Salary: $85k - $110k + Super + Car + Fuel Car

About You

You'll bring the technical skills of your Carpentry trade background along with the drive to step up into supervision. Specifically, you'll have:

• Cert III in Carpentry - essential
• Cert IV in Building & Construction - essential
• Proven experience in Frames & Trusses for a project home builder - essential
• Experience dealing with customers directly
• Strong communication skills - articulate, professional, and approachable
• A proactive, motivated mindset with good tenure in previous roles
• The ability to build rapport with trades, clients, and colleagues
