Job summary

Hatch partners with a leading Australian fashion retail group to recruit a Junior Maintenance Technician for their Fulfilment Centre in Sydney. The role focuses on maintaining automated equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement to keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Exposure to PLC/HMI systems, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing automated equipment.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance on conveyors, robots, sorters and packing equipment.
• Escalate complex issues to specialists and internal teams when needed.
