Job summary

The Experts Oz Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our installation teams in Ormeau, QLD. You’ll contribute to ducted and split system installs across residential and commercial sites throughout South East Queensland.

As you progress, you’ll receive mentoring from experienced installers, hands‑on training, and a clear pathway to ongoing employment within the company.

Qualifications

• Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of accredited air conditioning and refrigeration apprenticeship.
• Hands-on experience installing ducted and split systems.
• Comfortable working in a 4-person installation team.
• Pursuing or holding Certificate III in air conditioning & refrigeration.
• Confident with hand/power tools and basic refrigeration/electrical practices.

Responsibilities

• Install ducted and split air conditioning systems as part of a 4-person crew.
• Run and fabricate ductwork and piping; manage associated components.
• Mount indoor/outdoor units and test refrigerant lines; brazing as skills allow.
• Follow plans and job specs to complete installs to high standards.
• Keep accurate job records and documentation of completed work.
• Support residential and commercial projects across sites.
• Attend training and complete apprenticeship coursework.
• Follow WHS procedures and company policies.
