Qualifications

• Previous experience in caring for elders within an aged care or community setting is essential.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and ability to connect with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be the fun facilitator, organizing activities from art to day trips and movie nights.
• Foster social connections and a sense of belonging among residents.
• Support daily living tasks, meals, and outings with empathy.
• Gather resident feedback through surveys and family discussions.
• Collaborate with Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities and document progress.
• Maintain hygiene and follow infection control protocols; assist with serving meals.
