Job summary

JP Finsbury Pty Ltd in Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced Joiner to join our team, specialising in high-end cabinetry and architectural joinery for residential projects. You will interpret drawings, manufacture and install custom cabinetry, wardrobes and kitchens in a workshop and on-site, ensuring precise fit and quality.

The role requires AQF Certificate III in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent, 3+ years joinery experience, and strong attention to detail; annual salary range A$80,000–A$100,000

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience OR 3+ years full-time in joinery and cabinetmaking.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and client specifications to determine materials, measurements and installation requirements
• Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens and bespoke joinery items in a workshop environment
• Measure, cut, shape and fit timber, laminates and related materials using hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery
• Operate workshop equipment including saws, routers and CNC machinery
• Assemble cabinetry and furniture components prior to dispatch
• Undertake on-site installation of custom joinery, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fixing
• Conduct final adjustments and finishing to ensure high-quality presentation and durability
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Job Description

My Australia Direct Joiner JP Finsbury Pty Ltd Sydney NSW Full-time JP Finsbury Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based specialist in high-end custom cabinetry and architectural joinery for residential projects. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our growing team.

Annual remuneration of between $80,000 to $100,000 (negotiable) + superannuation on offer

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and client specifications to determine materials, measurements and installation requirements
• Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens and bespoke joinery items in a workshop environment
• Measure, cut, shape and fit timber, laminates and related materials using hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant full-time experience in joinery and cabinetmaking
• Demonstrated experience in custom cabinetry fabrication and installation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $80000-100000
