Job summary

You’ll administer Jira, configure workflows, manage budgets and forecasts, track expenditure, and support stakeholders with guidance and documentation. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne with home-working flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on experience administering and configuring Jira.
• Experience supporting project financials, including budgets, forecasts and expenditure tracking.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial and delivery data.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with busy stakeholders.
• A practical approach to solving problems and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira projects, workflows, boards, dashboards, permissions and reporting.
• Configure and improve Jira to support practical, consistent ways of working.
• Track project budgets, actual expenditure, forecasts and financial commitments.
• Coordinate purchase orders, invoices, timesheets and resource information.
• Prepare status reports that make progress, costs, risks and issues easy to understand.
• Maintain project schedules, action registers and governance documentation.
• Listen to stakeholder needs and translate them into useful Jira improvements.
• Help users build confidence through guidance, troubleshooting and clear documentation.
