Job summary

Zone IT Solutions in Sydney is seeking a Tech Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of a banking program. You will attend requirement discussions, finalise FSD and interface documents, and collaborate with business stakeholders to shape functional requirements for new services.

In a cross-functional Agile team, you will document API requirements, design robust interfaces, and mentor consultants while ensuring high-quality code and secure patterns.

Qualifications

• Westpac experience is mandatory.
• Must understand API requirements, design and specifications.
• Experience documenting functional specs and interfaces.
• Ability to work within an Agile team to communicate changes.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of the program.
• Attend requirement discussions with business stakeholders to finalise FSDs/Interface documents.
• Work with Business teams to determine functional requirements for new services.
• Work with Tech Lead/Business stakeholders for reviews and signoffs.
• Document and communicate changes in an Agile environment.
• Design robust interfaces to integrate various systems and technologies.
• Meet with development team to discuss UI ideas and applications.
• Support and collaborate with internal/external consultants in workshops and delivery engagements.

Job description

The Tech lead will be responsible for driving end to end delivery of the program, attend requirement discussions with business stakeholders to finalise the FSD’s/Interface documents etc…

In addition

• Work with the Business teams to determine functional requirements for the new services
• Westpac experience is mandatory .
• Work with Tech Lead/Business stakeholders for reviews and signoff’s
• Working within a team based AGILE structure to document and communicate new changes
• Good experience in documenting API requirements, design and functional specifications
• Designing and creating robust interfaces to integrate a variety of systems and technologies to solve business problems and create scalable solutions
• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Support and collaborate with other internal/external consultants in consulting, workshops and delivery engagements

A) required experienced -

To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills –

Technical Skills

• Java8 or above, Springframework5x, Springboot2x, Junit5, Mockito, Logging framework (Java based),Postman, Good Use of Any IDE
• Good to have knowledge on Maven, Git, Splunk , Bamboo, Swagger, Design patterns and Standards
• Previous experience in delivering API framework

Additional Skills

• Must have banking project experience
• Good Debugging Skills, Clean and efficient coding skills with TDD
• Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks.
• Mentor junior IBM consultants in the practice and delivery engagements
