Leidos Australia is seeking a Java Engineer – Health Integration for a 6-month max term contract to design, build and support secure healthcare integrations using HL7 v2, FHIR and CDA standards.

You will work with delivery teams, clients and vendors, implementing enterprise integration patterns with Apache Camel, REST/SOAP APIs, and CI/CD in Linux/Windows cloud environments, under Agile/Scrum.

Australian citizenship and Baseline security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building secure and compliant healthcare integrations using HL7 v2, FHIR and CDA standards.
• Strong Java development skills with hands-on experience applying enterprise integration patterns and API-based architectures.
• Experience working with Apache Camel and Apache Kafka in enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience writing unit, integration and API tests using JUnit and Bruno; performance testing with Apache JMeter.

• Develop robust interfaces and APIs using HL7 v2, FHIR and CDA standards.
• Collaborate with Platform and DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and manage code under DevOps/GitOps.
