Job summary

Leidos Australia seeks an experienced Business Analyst for a 6‑month maximum tenure contract to bridge business needs and delivery outcomes. You will work with diverse stakeholders, in ambiguous environments, driving clarity and momentum across Agile projects connected to Australia’s digital health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with Agile certification.
• Extensive experience leading requirements in complex technology environments.
• Strong track record producing clear, testable requirements and user stories.
• Experience in risk, assumptions and dependency management; defining measurable non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand business domain knowledge and translate needs into clear requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders across architecture, clients, project management, testing and development teams.
• Elicit, analyse, breakdown and maintain a well structured backlog using Azure DevOps.
• Influence and drive direction in large discussions or workshops to reach practical outcomes.
• Lead day-to-day and larger agile ceremonies within projects.
• Work independently to support delivery in ambiguous environments.
• Negotiate to align stakeholders on positive outcomes.
• Health domain knowledge is preferable but not mandatory.
