Macquarie Group is seeking a skilled Java developer to design, build, test and support Java-based applications. You will analyze complex business challenges and deliver reliable software while contributing to new development, migration efforts and API integrations.

The role requires 4+ years in Core Java, 2+ years with Spring/Spring Boot, and hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs and cloud technologies like AWS.

What role will you play?

In this role you will design, develop, test and support Java-based applications and services. You will analyse business and technical challenges, deliver reliable software solutions, and contribute to new application development, feature enhancements and migration initiatives.

What You Offer

• 4+ years’ of experience in Core Java development
• Experience with modern Java features, SOLID principles and functional programming
• 2+ years’ of experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Understanding of microservices architecture, relational databases and SQL
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience developing Java backend applications and user interface solutions using technologies such as Angular or React.
