Job summary

A Japanese-speaking Finance Analyst role in Australia offers exposure to cross-border financial analysis and strategic initiatives within a well-established organisation. You will prepare management reports, analyse performance, and support potential investments and acquisitions between Australia and Japan.

Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to strategic planning, market research and stakeholder relationships across two markets, leveraging strong Excel and Office skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular financial and business performance reports for head office in Japan.
• Analyse financial results, budgets, forecasts, KPIs and performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations and financial analysis for senior management.
• Work with management and portfolio companies to gather and analyse financial and operational information.
• Conduct market, industry and competitor research.
• Research and identify potential M&A and investment opportunities in Australia.
• Assist with financial modelling and other analyses related to investments and acquisitions.
• Support broader strategic, financial and business projects as required.
• Liaise with stakeholders in both Australia and Japan.
