Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Redmond, WA is seeking a dedicated facilities cleaner. You will support our customers by cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse and storage areas to keep the site ready for daily activities and production.

This role involves disinfecting laboratories and equipment, stocking supplies, using Microsoft applications for charting and training, following procedures, and maintaining logs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Experience performing housekeeping, custodial, or sanitization in medical, lab, or clean room environments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day in a physically active role.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support customers by cleaning and sanitizing common areas (restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse) and ensure the facility is clean for daily activities.
• Clean and disinfect laboratories and equipment, and prepare them for production and testing of sterile medical products.
• Stock and organize supplies for all required areas.
• Operate Microsoft applications and other computer-based systems used in the facility.
• Follow standard procedures and work independently or in a team, with accurate logbooks and training records.

Job Description

• Support our customers through cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouse and storage areas to ensure facility is cleaned and in good condition for routine daily activities
• Ensure all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
• Stock and organize supplies for all required areas of the scope
• Operate Microsoft Applications (for charting, email, training, etc.) and other computer-based systems utilized in the facility
• Follow standard procedures and execute activities independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Complete documentation in a regulated environment such as completing logbooks, training, and communicating with other groups on equipment maintenance activities and special cleanings.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail
• Experience performing housekeeping responsibilities, or custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or a clean room environment
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent
• Reliable, hardworking team player
• Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication, emails, and training
• Ability to pass a full physical as well as a drug test to work in a physically active role.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

This role is located in Redmond, WA and has a schedule of 3rd shift 5pm Sunday -Thursday
