Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum including the teaching of literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage with students, parents and the school community.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve student outcomes.
• Use data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Model exemplary teaching and mentor colleagues.
• Contribute to school policies and priorities and participate in school activities.
• Supervise and support student teachers where required.
