West Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer. Based in Seven Hills, this is a hands-on role supporting infrastructure and workplace technology across Australia and the wider APAC region.

Working within Global IT Operations, you will manage and support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Entra ID, Active Directory and Windows Server environments, alongside virtualisation, networking, backup and disaster recovery

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering roles
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure/Entra ID
• Active Directory and Windows Server administration
• Networking (LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPNs)
• Backup, disaster recovery and patch management
• Infrastructure monitoring and alerting
• ITSM and incident management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Experience coordinating IT across multiple locations
• PowerShell, automation and cloud transformation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure/Entra ID, AD and Windows Server environments.
• Provide Level 2/3 infrastructure support, troubleshoot incidents and manage patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate IT activities across APAC with local IT teams, global technology functions and external vendors.
• Contribute to regional and global IT projects covering infrastructure upgrades, cloud transformation, workplace technology and cybersecurity.
• Lead smaller regional infrastructure initiatives.
• Role based in Seven Hills with regular on-site presence and occasional APAC travel.

About Your New Role

West Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer. Based in Seven Hills, this is a hands-on role supporting infrastructure and workplace technology across Australia and the wider APAC region.

Working within Global IT Operations, you will manage and support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure / Entra ID, Active Directory and Windows Server environments, alongside virtualisation, networking, backup and disaster recovery technologies.

You will provide Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure support, troubleshoot complex incidents and manage patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring and infrastructure lifecycle activities. You will also act as a technical coordination point across APAC, working with local IT teams, global technology functions and external vendors.

Alongside BAU, you will contribute to regional and global IT projects covering infrastructure upgrades, cloud transformation, workplace technology and cybersecurity. You will also have the opportunity to lead smaller regional infrastructure initiatives.

About you

• 5+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Administrator or similar.
• Strong experience supporting infrastructure and IT operations environments.
• Microsoft Intune, including device enrolment, compliance policies, configuration profiles and application deployment.
• Azure / Entra ID, Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Networking, including LAN/WAN, switching, routing, WiFi and VPNs.
• Backup and disaster recovery, endpoint management, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
• Level 2/3 infrastructure support and troubleshooting.
• ITSM, ticketing systems and incident management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating IT activities across multiple locations or regional environments.
• PowerShell, automation, cloud transformation and infrastructure project experience will be highly regarded.
