Job summary

Sustainability in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse technology portfolio within financial services. You will drive end-to-end delivery across infrastructure, applications, compliance, cyber security, CRM, AI, data and business transformation projects.

You will report to a Senior Project Manager and help evolve the PMO while navigating ambiguity and delivering outcomes with vendors and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT and business projects in financial services.
• Ability to manage governance, RAID, and reporting.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder engagement skills.
• PMO experience and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple concurrent technology and business projects from initiation through to implementation and go-live.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, resource plans and delivery milestones.
• Managing project governance, RAID registers and delivery reporting.
• Coordinating vendors, implementation partners and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying risks, issues and dependencies while driving mitigation strategies.
• Supporting project scoping, prioritisation and business engagement activities.
• Facilitating workshops, project meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Supporting UAT, business readiness and go-live planning activities.
• Managing project delivery across Agile and Waterfall environments.

Looking for your next Project Management opportunity within Financial Services? We’re partnering with a highly regarded investment and wealth management organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing technology team.

With a significant portfolio of projects already underway and a strong pipeline of future initiatives, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a diverse mix of infrastructure, application, compliance, cyber security, CRM, AI, data and business transformation projects. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects end-to-end while helping support an evolving PMO environment.

About the Role

This is not a role for someone looking to deliver the same project repeatedly. Instead, you’ll work across a broad range of initiatives, partnering with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to drive outcomes in a lean, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, quickly learning new subject matter and taking ownership of delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Highly Regarded

• Financial services, wealth management or capital markets experience
• Exposure to compliance, cyber security, infrastructure or platform projects
• PMO experience
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent certifications
• Experience working with global stakeholders and third-party vendors
