Job summary

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager in Parramatta to lead complex technology programs. You will drive delivery across a portfolio, balancing the existing roadmap with new priorities and providing governance, risk management and executive reporting.

You will work with senior executives, business owners, technology teams, and delivery partners to ensure successful digital systems delivery while managing dependencies

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large, complex digital transformation or government programs.
• Proven governance, delivery frameworks and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-project programs with planning, governance, risk management and reporting.
• Provide strategic direction for design, implementation and continuous improvement of digital systems and services.
• Establish program controls, governance structures and executive reporting aligned with NSW Government frameworks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including project managers, business analysts, technical specialists, vendors and contractors.
• Manage program budgets, procurement, resources and supplier performance.
• Build relationships with executives, owners, partners and external stakeholders.
• Oversee risks, dependencies, changes and business continuity considerations.
