Job summary

NSW Government agency is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in telecommunications and IT infrastructure program delivery. The role is a contract located in Sydney CBD with ASAP start through to October 2027, offering exposure to large-scale infrastructure and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior program management delivering large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven delivery of $100M+ infrastructure programs in telecom/IT.
• Experience with governance, commercial management, risk and assurance.
• Experience with asset replacement and network renewal in live environments.
• Security clearance baseline; Australian citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own the program strategy, roadmap and delivery plan.
• Lead end-to-end delivery across scope, budget, schedule, risk and benefits.
• Prioritise asset replacement based on criticality and risk.
• Lead multiple workstreams across technology, network, sites and operations.
• Drive governance, risk management, reporting and commercial controls.
• Manage relationships with government agencies, vendors and partners.
• Ensure cutovers, migrations and decommissioning are safely planned.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Build a high-performing delivery culture focused on outcomes.
