D’Arcy Weil is recruiting a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a major Australian telecommunications business. Based in Sydney, the role is hands-on, covering enterprise and OT networks across multiple sites nationwide, from design and rollout through incident resolution and IT/OT boundary management.

Key responsibilities include securing architectures, upgrades, site rollouts, and maintaining accurate network documentation. Willingness to travel interstate and regionally is required.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in information technology or related discipline.
• Cisco CCNA or comparable certification.
• Extensive hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, VPN and SD‑WAN.
• Experience in OT or industrial network environments.
• Strong network security knowledge, threat mitigation and secure design principles.
• Experience with monitoring, incident management and change implementation.

Aufgaben

• Run and evolve enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, VPN and SD‑WAN environments across corporate and OT sites.
• Design and implement secure network architectures across IT and OT; lead upgrades, rollouts, migrations.
• Diagnose and fix complex network faults and restore services quickly during incidents.
• Operate and support secure industrial networks and manage the IT/OT boundary with sound security discipline.
• Keep topology diagrams, configurations, procedures and standards accurate and current.
