Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care Australia is seeking an IT Commissioning & Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure commissioning for new aged care developments and major site expansions. You will work with project teams, clinicians and vendors, ensuring environments are tested, ready, and transitioned to BAU.

Travel locally and interstate is required. Responsibilities include coordinating across infrastructure, applications, cyber security and service desks, reviewing construction docs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Australian Citizenship, PR or valid work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning and deployment for new facilities and major technology initiatives.
• Coordinate deployment across infrastructure, applications, cyber security and service teams.
• Review docs, conduct site surveys and manage IT design requirements.
• Oversee equipment staging, configuration and deployment (networks, servers, devices, access control).
• Develop commissioning, testing, migration and cutover plans.
• Manage readiness, risk, defects and acceptance activities.
• Support go-live and transition to operations.
