Saab Australia Pty Ltd seeks an experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead the delivery lifecycle of critical technology projects, from demand and design through build, test and productionhandover. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Delivery Manager to join a high-performing team and shape how complex solutions are delivered across Saab Australia. Reporting to the Head of IT/CIO, you will lead the Deliver phase of our Demand-Deliver-Service IT Operating Model. In this influential leadership role, you will turn strategic priorities into practical outcomes by guiding the planning, execution and quality of IT projects and solutions across the organisation. You will own the full delivery lifecycle, from prioritised demand and solution design through to build, testing and transition into operations. You will set teams up for success by combining strong project governance with modern, adaptable delivery methods, ensuring solutions are secure, supportable, maintainable and easy to use. Leading cross-functional delivery squads, you will work closely with IT Strategy and Governance, IT Demand and IT Service Operations. You will create an environment where talented people collaborate, solve complex problems and deliver technology that makes a genuine difference. With accountability for delivery performance, methodology, resources and solution quality, you will build a high-performing delivery pipeline that converts approved demand into valuable capability on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to influence how IT delivers, strengthen organisational capability and leave a lasting impact.
For the duration of the probation period, this position requires full-time attendance in the office (five days per week). Upon successful completion of probation, flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working and a 9-day fortnight, can be discussed.
