Job summary

Michael Page Australia is partnering with a public sector client to recruit an IT Audit professional. The role will coordinate IT risk and assurance audits across complex environments, perform testing across SAP, Oracle and ERP platforms, and evaluate IT controls including cybersecurity and governance.

You will contribute to planning, execution and reporting while supporting a broader audit team. Hybrid working arrangements span Brisbane client sites, the Brisbane office and remote work,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT, business, commerce, accounting or related discipline.
• Experience in IT audit, technology risk, or assurance.
• Experience assessing controls across ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of IT risk and assurance audits across complex organisations.
• Perform audit testing and assess technology risks and controls across SAP, Oracle, ERP platforms and core business applications.
• Evaluate IT general controls, cybersecurity, access management, data integrity and technology governance.
• Assess technology environments including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra, infrastructure and information security.
• Identify significant audit matters, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, contributing to practical recommendations.
• Contribute to audit planning, execution, reporting and quality review while supporting the broader audit team.

The Successful Applicant

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Commerce, Accountancy or a related discipline


• Demonstrated experience in IT audit, technology risk, assurance or a related audit environment


• Experience assessing technology controls across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity or information security environments


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls and develop practical recommendations


• Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia
