Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Lead IT Audit professional to oversee engagements across IT risk and assurance in a well-established public sector client. You will direct audit planning, execution, and reviews of SAP, Oracle, ERP and core systems, applying judgement to assess ITGCs, cybersecurity and data integrity.

You will lead teams, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while working across Windows, AD, Entra and information security environments in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Commerce, Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in IT audit, technology risk, assurance or a related audit environment.
• Experience reviewing or managing major ERP systems, databases, operating systems and network environments.
• Strong understanding of technology controls, risk management and assurance frameworks.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM or another relevant professional certification would be highly regarded.
• Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia.

• Lead, supervise and review audit teams across a portfolio of IT risk and assurance engagements.
• Provide direction on audit planning, execution, working papers and quality review across SAP, Oracle, ERP and core business applications.
• Apply professional judgement to assess IT general controls, cybersecurity, access management, data integrity and technology risks.
• Assess technology environments including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra, infrastructure and information security.
• Support the delivery of complex and higher-risk engagements, identifying control weaknesses and practical recommendations.
• Drive problem resolution, continuous improvement and change while working with senior stakeholders across technology engagements.
