Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island) seeks a Guest Services Agent to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs and coordinate reservations, delivering memorable experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You’ll work within our Front Office team on Kingfisher Bay Resort, utilising RMS, Opera or Sihot, and sharing local knowledge to enhance guest stays. On-island, live-on-site position with staff facilities and tours included.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services, reception or customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Experience in a hotel, resort or tourism environment is highly regarded.
• Experience using RMS, Opera, Sihot or similar booking systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs.
• Assist with reservations, enquiries and guest requests.
• Share local knowledge and recommendations with guests.
• Maintain accurate guest records and booking information.
• Help create exceptional guest experiences every day.
