Farrelly Construction Services (FCS) in NSW's Hunter Valley seeks qualified IRATA Rope Access Boilermakers of all levels for ongoing projects and maintenance across Newcastle and surrounding NSW regions.

These casual roles require IRATA certification (all levels), Working at Heights, First Aid (IRTA Level 3), Confined Space, White Card, and proven experience supervising rope access teams in mining or heavy industry environments.

Qualifications

• Working at Heights certification required.
• First Aid certificate (Level 3 IRTA) required.

• Current medical and Australian working rights.
• Strong understanding of safety systems, risk management and IRATA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work across maintenance, inspections, construction, shutdowns and specialist access projects.
• Based in NSW with mobility to Newcastle and Hunter Valley sites.
• Lead rope access teams safely under IRATA standards.
• Coordinate with site safety and operations teams.

About the Role

FCS is seeking qualified IRATA Rope Access Boilermakers of all levels for upcoming projects and ongoing maintenance works throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and surrounding NSW regions.

These positions will involve work across a range of environments including maintenance, inspections, construction, shutdowns, and specialist access projects. Applicants must be based in NSW, within driving distance of the Hunter Valley, or willing to relocate.

Requirements

Current IRATA certification (all levels)

Demonstrated experience supervising rope access teams and work fronts

Current Working at Heights certification

Current First Aid certificate (level 3 IRTA)

Current confined Space certification

Current medical and valid Australian working rights

Strong understanding of safety systems, risk management, and IRATA compliance

White Card

Mining and heavy industry experience

Experience in shutdowns and maintenance environments
