Job summary

Embedded Expertise in Sydney is seeking a dedicated engineer to join the CCTV and video surveillance network team to contribute to design phases, live site commissioning, and handover of a major infrastructure project.

You will design, configure, and integrate high-definition IP CCTV networks and VMS (Genetec, Milestone) for tunnel environments; conduct FAT/SAT and final commissioning; collaborate with TfNSW and other disciplines; produce technical docs.

Qualifications

A tertiary degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or closely related field.
Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and commissioning large IP CCTV infrastructure and VMS.
3–5 years on major road, tunnel, or rail infrastructure projects; TfNSW familiarity is a plus.
Strong IP networking, fibre, and digital video encoding knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and integrate end-to-end CCTV networks and VMS for tunnel environments.
On-site testing, FAT/SAT, and final commissioning of CCTV assets.
Coordinate with software, network engineering, civil contractors, and TfNSW representatives.
Ensure surveillance infrastructure complies with project specs and standards.
Create and review technical design docs, commissioning plans, and test scripts.
