Job summary

Housing Australia is seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to support the Investment team across the project lifecycle, from deal origination to in-life management. You will contribute to financial analysis, model reviews and data preparation for reporting.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, a good grasp of funding structures and compliance awareness, with postgraduate qualifications considered desirable. Hybrid work is offered in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Analytical and financial skills to review financial models and statements.
• Experience supporting investment teams with due diligence and financial analysis.
• Understanding of debt, grant and availability payment structures.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Governance and compliance awareness aligned with policy and legislative requirements.
• Exposure to financial analysis or asset management or structured environments is beneficial.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, law or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support deal lifecycle from origination to financial close.
• Assist with due diligence materials, credit papers, and submissions.
• Assist commercial deal structuring and negotiations.
• Monitor loan/asset performance across development and operations.
• Update transaction, asset and portfolio data in Housing Australia’s systems.
• Develop capability across housing finance, funding products, asset management and governance.
