Job summary

Findex Inverell is seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager/Senior Manager to lead a local team and manage a diverse client portfolio across SME businesses. You will guide accountants, deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, and collaborate with Partners to distribute work and drive value.

Relocation support is available for the right candidate, with a clear pathway to Partnership and opportunities to shape service delivery across the firm.

Qualifications

• Public practice experience: 5+ years at Manager level; 6–8+ years for Senior Manager.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Strong commercial acumen with sound technical accounting skills.
• Experience reviewing complex financial statements, tax returns and compliance across varied entities.

Responsibilities

• Review complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and various business structures.
• Prepare cash flows and monthly management reports for clients.
• Provide strategic business advice and participate in commercial advisory projects with Partners.
• Support client portfolio governance through a structured Annual Client Review process.
• Collaborate with Adviser Support Managers and Partners to ensure timely and accurate work.
• Drive business development efforts and identify cross-service opportunities to add value.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to support growth and performance.
