Job summary

SA Power Networks is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimise stock levels and ensure material availability across the business. You will develop and implement inventory strategies, leveraging data and system insights to improve service outcomes and support continuity of supply.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply quality procedures, and contribute to cost-effective movement of materials while supporting the SAP and Office ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory management, materials management, procurement, supply chain or related discipline.
  • Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyse information, identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working with business systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of quality procedures, work instructions and continuous improvement practices.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to support and guide others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best practice inventory and supply chain strategies to ensure service requirements and material availability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand service requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and implementation of Quality Management System procedures and work instructions.
