Job summary

ActewAGL Distribution is seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Controller to join our Procurement team in Canberra. The role focuses on maintaining inventory controls, data accuracy and supporting supply chain operations.

You will manage Oracle Fusion catalogues, Blanket Purchase Agreements, monitor stock levels, analyze data, develop reports and dashboards with Power BI, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP inventory modules (Oracle Fusion) and purchasing.
• Catalogue management and item master data management.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills in inventory or supply chain.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI reporting capabilities.

Are you highly organised, analytical and passionate about inventory management and supply? ActewAGL is seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Controller to join our Procurement team and play a key role in supporting the effective supply of goods and services across the business.

Based within the Finance Division and reporting to the Supply Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining inventory and purchasing controls and data, supporting supply chain operations, and driving continuous improvement through reporting and analytics.

This is an opportunity to apply your analytical skills, influence business outcomes and help drive effective inventory and purchasing practices across the organisation.

About the Role

As the Inventory & Purchasing Controller, you will:

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience using Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
• Knowledge of contemporary supply chain and inventory management practices.
