Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking a Stores & Inventory Controller in Sydney for a busy industrial operation. You will oversee day-to-day stores, manage inventory via SAP, and support reporting and compliance to maintain high operational standards.

The role offers autonomy and variety, with responsibilities spanning SAP processing, stock verification, and liaison with production and finance teams. A current forklift licence and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse, inventory, or materials management experience.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Excellent administration and reporting skills.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue engineering spares, consumables, and chemicals through SAP.
• Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and stock movements.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and work orders.
• Pick and allocate materials for maintenance and production requirements.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Complete weekly and month-end inventory and chemical reporting.
• Maintain accurate stock records and master data.
• Support equipment refurbishment processes through SAP.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, contractor, and stores procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and stores efficiency.
• Liaise with production, maintenance, suppliers, and finance teams.
