Job summary

Aristocrat in Sydney, Australia is seeking an Inventory Controller to conduct cycle counts, analyse variances, and drive corrective actions across ERP and Field Services. The role encompasses reporting, audits, and continuous improvement of inventory processes with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

3+ years in inventory control in manufacturing, forklift license, and strong data analysis skills are required. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Inventory control experience in manufacturing.
• Valid forklift license is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis.
• ERP experience is helpful but not essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Excel in particular.

• Conduct inventory cycle counts to drive KPI execution across AIC and Field Services.
• Analyse, document, and resolve inventory variances to align physical and system inventory.
• Drive root cause analysis of variances and provide corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly inventory reports for cycle count trends.
• Support ERP testing to ensure smooth BAU transitions.
• Participate in inventory audits with internal and external partners.
• Manage timely inventory transactions and adhoc inventory tasks.
• Perform disposition of obsolete and excess inventory.
• Engage in continuous improvement of inventory systems and processes.

• Conduct inventory cycle counts to drive the execution of Inventory KPI across AIC and Field Services.
• Analyse, document, and resolve inventory variances to align physical and system inventory.
• Driving root cause analysis of inventory variances and provide corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly inventory reports for cycle count trends and improving visibility on inventory management.
• Support ERP testing to ensure smooth transition of changes to BAU with minimal disruptions.
• Participate in inventory audits with our internal and external financial business partners as needed.
• Manage timely inventory transactions & Adhoc inventory management tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Perform physical and system disposition of obsolete and excess Inventory as required.
• Actively engage in continuous improvement and optimisation of inventory systems and processes to transform our inventory operational performance.
• Actively engage with safety initiatives and promote a safety culture across the site fully complying to site safety regulations and displaying diligence during operational tasks.
• Actively demonstrate Aristocrat’s Winning Ways values and behaviours.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of Inventory control experience working in a manufacturing environment with strong understanding of inventory processes and supply chain management
• Valid forklift license is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and data analysis
• Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience is helpful but not essential
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Flexibility & adaptability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
