Job summary

Suntory Oceania is seeking an Inventory Controller to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy across sites. You will monitor stock on hand using SAP, support import requirements, and contribute to a safety-focused culture within the logistics team.

The role requires a background in inventory control within FMCG, strong SAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel. This on-site position is based in Queensland, aligning with Suntory's Growing for Good initiative.

Qualifications

• Background in Inventory Control within a medium to large FMCG organization.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and optimization methods.
• Experience with warehouse operations activities and MHE materials handling equipment.
• Strong SAP knowledge including SAP-based warehouse management systems and SAP APO.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Plan for inventory placement in accordance with supply forecasts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure inventory measures and practices support supply.
• Develop and build reports to track stock and provide stock insights.
• Lead inventory at site level by establishing and implementing inventory routines.
• Monitor compliance activities and maintain inventory processes for bonded facility.

The Opportunity

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for ensuring that the finished goods warehouse inventory is accurate for all warehouse sites. This will involve monitoring and controlling the financial accuracy of stock on hand using SAP to ensure sales & order data integrity as well as supporting with import requirements. As a member of the logistic team, you will be an actively contribute safe ways of working in alignment with our safety focused culture.

What You'll Do

• Plan for inventory placement in accordance to supply forecasts.
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure all controllable inventory measures and practices are adhered to, to ensure supply.
• Develop and build reporting to track stock and provide stock insight.
• Lead inventory at a site level by establishing and implementing inventory routine.
• Monitor compliance activities.
• Maintain & adhere to the inventory processes in alignment with alcohol management for a bonded facility.

Experience that you will bring

As well as a positive can-do attitude you will demonstrate the following:

• A background in an Inventory Control role within a medium to large size organization (FMCG preferred).
• Understanding of inventory management principles and optimization methods.
• Understanding of warehouse operations activities and MHE materials handling equipment.
• Strong SAP knowledge including SAP based warehouse management systems & SAP APO
• Knowledge.
• Relevant qualification a related business discipline (highly desirable).
• Strong computer skills including Excel and other MS Office suites.
