Job summary

Optus is seeking an Inventory Control Manager based in Macquarie Park, Sydney. You will lead governance, control and continuous improvement of inventory management across Optus Networks, overseeing stock across facilities, the national distribution centre and partner locations.

This full-time role drives accuracy, visibility, compliance and efficiency while leading a blended team of permanent and contract staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in inventory control, warehouse operations or related supply chain field.
• Experience managing inventories held by third-party providers or field partners.
• Strong understanding of stock movements, reconciliation and cycle counting.
• Experience implementing or improving ERP/WMS processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory management across storage locations.
• Establish and maintain inventory control standards and procedures.
• Govern receipts, issues, transfers, returns, repairs, disposals and adjustments.
• Drive improvements in accuracy, visibility and compliance.
• Lead cycle counting, reconciliation and variance management.
• Plan annual stocktake program and corrective actions.
• Lead adoption of inventory processes with IT and process owners.
• Lead and develop a blended team of permanent and contract staff.
