Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking a commercially minded Inventory Analyst to join our Australian FMCG team. The role focuses on analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, investigating discrepancies and supporting commercial decision-making.

You will monitor stock levels, interpret data for insights, and work with internal stakeholders to improve stock availability and working capital. This is a full-time, on-site contract with potential for permanency for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Experience as Inventory Analyst or in an inventory-focused role in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with ability to read, interpret and investigate data.
Commercially minded with understanding of how inventory impacts business performance.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Proactive approach with problem-solving and attention to detail.
Comfortable working full-time on-site in a busy FMCG operation.

Responsibilities

Analyse inventory data, identify trends and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy and stock movements.
Interpret data to provide meaningful insights for commercial decision-making.
Identify inventory risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Work with internal stakeholders to support inventory optimisation and operational performance.
Prepare reporting and provide recommendations to improve stock availability and working capital.
