Job summary

Affix in Melbourne is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer for an initial 6-month contract. The role focuses on delivering endpoint and infrastructure initiatives, migrating GPOs to Intune, and enabling modern device management in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT infrastructure, strong Intune experience, and solid AD/Entra ID skills, working across large enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure or EUC with modern workplace tech.
• Strong Intune experience with device config and deployment.
• Experience migrating GPOs to Intune and policy testing.
• Solid Active Directory and Entra ID experience in large environments.
• Experience in enterprise environments with 1500+ users.
• Proficient PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Clear communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver endpoint and infrastructure initiatives for a modern workplace.
• Migrate GPOs to Intune and manage device configurations.
• Support enterprise-wide device refresh programs.
• Manage Identity with AD and Entra ID.
• Provide Level 3 troubleshooting for end-user issues.
• Develop automation with PowerShell.
• Collaborate with Melbourne-based and offshore resources.
