Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent.
• Current AHPRA registration and Victorian Dept. of Health Radiation Use Licence.
• Experience in leadership and education roles within Intervention/Angiography.
• Desirable: Previous Modality Supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and clinical operations of Interventional Radiology across Angiography suites, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Operating Theatres and FPSC.
• Coordinate workflow and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality imaging.
• Ensure equipment, quality, education and training requirements are met.

The Team & Role

The Interventional Supervisor is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer who is passionate about leading the technical and clinical operations of Interventional Radiology. This role oversees services across the Angiography suites, Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab), Hybrid Laboratory, Operating Theatres, and the Frankston Private Surgical Centre (FPSC). As a key member of the Radiology Leadership team, reporting to the Operations Director Radiology Pathology Clinical Improvement Unit (CIU), you will bring advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to maintaining professional standards. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging, coordinating workflow, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring equipment, quality, education, and training requirements are met. This is a highly rewarding position for someone eager to contribute to service excellence and ongoing best‑practice development.

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree / Diploma of Medical Radiation Science or equivalent
• current AHPRA registration and Victorian Dept. of Health Radiation Use Licence
• Experience in leadership and education roles within Intervention/Angiography
• Previous experience as a Modality Supervisor (desirable)
