Job summary

Hornby Transport Services in NSW is seeking experienced B-double/tautliner truck drivers. Roles are based at Unanderra, Port Macquarie or Thornton with additional depots in Newcastle, Wollongong and Brisbane.

You will operate MC configurations, transport interstate freight and work with a modern fleet and in-cab technology. Applicants must have a safe driving record, at least 2 years heavy-vehicle experience, knowledge of load restraint and Chain of Responsibility, and solid customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving heavy vehicles.
• Safe driving record.
• Knowledge of load restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
• Ability to comply with fatigue management guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport interstate freight.
• Operate MC configurations to deliver freight.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Comply with HTS Operations, Policies and Procedures.
